Welcome to my class website! **As always, always a work in progress (trying to improve and get better).**
The tabs (at the top of the page) lead you to drop down menus to access daily classwork and homework assignments, rubrics, academic links, class syllabi, my contact information, and information about requesting letters of recommendation.
**NOTE: I will be leaving up my resources for IB SL Chem...but not likely to update much. This website is mainly focused on General Chemistry and IB HL Chemistry.

Extra Learning Opportunities (ELOs)
I don't offer "extra credit" but what I do offer is "ELOs" as a way to discern if a grade is "on the bubble" if it MIGHT be reasonable to be moved up. If a student has done several ELOs, I can potentially justify the "bump" because they have due to the extra relevant work they've done (above and beyond). Typically, this is a MINOR "adjustment" (hundredths of a percent) and not a significant change to the grade percentage. I DO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE THE FINAL DECISION ON MATTERS OF ELOs AND GRADES. If this becomes an issue, it can go away and there will be NO adjustments.
